With cheap fares starting from NZ$1.00, travelling on InterCity Coachlines and Great Sights bus and coach services is an affordable way to see New Zealand's unique scenic beauty.

Travel is on modern buses and coaches with
InterCity Coachlines operating a fleet of modern eco-friendly air-conditioned buses and coaches with reclining seats and foot rests.

Great Sights operate premier services using a fleet of modern eco-friendly air conditioned coaches with reclining seats, foot and head rests and onboard toilet/washroom facilities.

InterCity bus and coach services in the North and South Islands, connect with
ferry services that operate between Wellington in the North and Picton in the South Island.

InterCity Coach InteriorFor stress free relaxing travel, InterCity Coachlines GOLD seats - soft leather reclining seats with head and foot rests and individual USB charging ports, are located on the Auckland to Wellington daytime and on the lower deck of the Auckland to Hamilton, Rotorua, Taupo, Palmerston North and Wellington Starlighter overnight double decker coach services, the first 3 rows on the single deck coach services between Wellington to Palmerston North, Hastings and Napier, Christchurch to Kaikoura, Blenheim and Picton, Christchurch to Dunedin and Dunedin to Queenstown coach services.

InterCity Coachlines operates the Starlighter overnight coach services between Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua, Taupo, Palmerston North and Wellington, connecting with Cook Strait ferry services operating between Wellington in the North Island and Picton in the South Island. The Starlighter overnight services features reclining seats with foot rests and head rests, individual reading lights and air conditioning controls, onboard toilet/washroom facility and two refreshment/comfort stops on route.

All Passes allows you to travel at your own pace, in any direction, on any service on the InterCity Coachlines and Great Sights national bus and coach networks plus any Cook Strait ferry crossing between the North and South Islands, for up to 12 months providing value for money travel on New Zealand's largest scenic transport network.

All InterCity Coachlines regional, inter-regional and long distance buses and coaches and Great Sights scenic coach and touring services have seamless 3G and 4G mobile Wi-Fi access across all InterCity regional and long distance routes within New Zealand.

When using the Fare Finder located on the top left, for online fare, seat availability and reservation, Great Sights is identified as 'GS', Intercity Coachlines is identified as 'IC' and InterCity Link as 'IL'.

Reservations can be made for drop off options at Christchurch International Airport on northbound InterCity inter-regional and long distance bus and coach services from Invercargill, Te Anau, Queenstown, Dunedin, Timaru, Oamaru, Ashburton to Christchurch and Great Sights services from Queenstown Twizel, Lake Tekapo and Mt Cook, by typing or selecting 'Christchurch Airport' in the 'To' field, as your drop off location. 

Pick ups and drop offs for Intercity coach services between Christchurch Lake Tekapo, Twizel, Wanaka and Queenstown, type or select 'Christchurch Airport' in 'From' and/or 'To' as your Christchurch airport pick up or drop off location.

Reservations can be also made for travel to/from Auckland International Airport to any southbound destination outside the greater Auckland urban region either from the airport's international or domestic terminals.

From the reservation search box located on the left, in the 'From' field, type or select either 'Auckland International Airport' or 'Auckland Domestic Airport' and in the 'To' field, the destination you want to travel too.

Some InterCity Coachlines and Great Sights coach and scenic coach services from Nelson, Westport, Fox Glacier, Franz Josef and Hokitika connect at Greymouth for the famous TranzAlpine train the operates between Christchurch and Greymouth and Greymouth and Christchurch.

Reservations for bus and coach travel within the greater Auckland urban region can not be made, as these services are local commuter services.
